What a nice surprise on the way from Cape town to KZN. The restaurant upstairs serves very hearty meals at good prices. The mince on toast was divine and Oom Wimpie's special breakfast was more than enough and tasty. The coffee is very good. Our friendly waiter (Jonique) was passionate to share the story of the restaurant and some local places of interest . The shop at the bottom sells a good variety of almost everything needed on the road.

Very nice atmosphere restaurant upstairs and down stairs. Child friendly. Food big portions and good quality. Wheelchair friendly. Bathroom is neat and tidy and clean. Also a gift shop with nice different gifts. Vida Cafe for a quick stop and a take away and a shop for snacks.

It gives you exactly what it promises: food, rest and a clean toilet area. Service is prompt, people are friendly, plenty of space to park and sit.

Staff were friendly and very efficient. Out food was brought to the table within a short time frame. The lamb is good ...just for me, I prefer more flavor. I love the cute herb garden. The video on the TV about the history of the place was quite interesting. I would come again.

Easy to find, with parking out front. You walk through the store at the bottom to get to the restaurant above. The lamb was amazing - Melt off the bone and melt in your mouth amazing - accompanied by delicious sides of potato, pap, and veg! The staff are friendly, the service was good, and the atmosphere was lively. 10/10 would recommend. The staff
